Tokubo Wahab, the State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, shared this information in a post on X on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
The Commissioner stated that the taskforce to arrest was established by the Lagos State to apprehend offenders and issue a warning to those engaged in such behaviour.
“The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources today continues the total cleanup of Ojodu – Berger median, warns against defecating on the roadside, as the Lagos State government set up a Taskforce to arrest offenders,” Wahab wrote.
This initiative follows the ongoing cleanup efforts in the State.
