In a terse statement, LAMATA said the fair rise is because of the increase in the cost of operations and the need to ensure that buses keep running and guarantee citizens’ movement around Lagos.

“The new fare will take effect from February 17, 2025. We seek your cooperation and understanding,” LAMATA said.
