Beneath Nigeria’s oil-laden soil, a river of gold stagnates untapped. Its estuaries lie abandoned yet discernible in the misfortunes of the OML 42, OML 11, OML 25, OML 26, and the offshore behemoth OPL 245. These oil blocs, among others, hold the promise of 500,000 barrels of oil per day.
