The man, identified on social media platform X as @Jet Daniel, recently shared that a patient on the bed next to his died of suffocation after his wife fed him pap despite medical instructions strictly prohibiting oral feeding.

The X user stated in his post that the nurse on duty reportedly authorised the patient’s wife to feed him.
According to the post, the patient began struggling to breathe shortly after he was fed pap.
He said this alarmed the wife, who sought assistance, but the nurse reportedly delayed for about 10 minutes, and when the nurse finally responded, it was unfortunately too late.
The post alleged that upon the arrival of the patient’s family, all the nurses present, including the matron, changed their uniforms and went into hiding.
The post read, ” While I was at LUTH the person next to my bed died of suffocation because of the nurses’ negligence.
“The man wasn’t meant to eat yet, but the nurse gave the wife the go-ahead to feed him pap. After he started experiencing breathing difficulties, the wife called the nurse and she was grumbling. She didn’t answer the woman until after 10 minutes, when she saw it was serious. They started looking for suction catheters and did not find. In my presence the man gave up the ghost.
“When the family came, all the nurses, including their matron, went to change clothes and hide.”
