Nigeria’s inflation rate hits 24.2 per cent

Nigeria’s inflation rate has hit a high of 24.23 per cent in March 2025.

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in a fresh announcement said the recent increase in the nation’s inflation rate is in its consumer price index (CPI) for March.

In its report released on Tuesday, April 15, the NBS announcement shows an upward spike in the inflation rate from the previous 23.18 per cent reported in February.
