The beneficiaries are local government retirees and primary school teachers who have, in dedication and sacrifices of time, worked for the growth and the development of the state through the civil service.
According to him, the payment will serve as immediate intervention to cushion the effect of hardship and make life easier for both retirees and their immediate families, most especially at this challenging economic situation.
Adebusuyi described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a man with a good heart, who thinks and puts the people first in the governance business, noting that with this singular act of kindness to the retirees, there will be a prolific progress in the area of gratuity payment to the retirees.
He however, appealed that the payment should be made on monthly basis so as to allow the owners of the money to utilize their funds appropriately.
This, the Ondo state IPMAN vice chairman explained that paying the money on monthly basis or rather paying them up to date will be of help to them as regards those who intend to invest their money in businesses.
Adebusuyi who suggested at most, 2 tranches to be paid at once, also advised government to have a particular money set aside for that purpose, saying that will bring more development to the system.
The Oil and gas Business Mogul equally advised the beneficiaries to utilize the money meaningfully by investing them on profit-making ventures.
On his final note, while commending Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Agricultural expert urged the state government to continue this project on monthly basis so as to ameliorate the suffering of the retirees.
