Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen continued his goal-scoring form in the Turkish Super Lig, netting the winner as Galatasaray secured a hard-fought 2-1 comeback win over Alanyaspor.
Osimhen’s strike in the 62nd minute sealed the win despite Galatasaray playing with 10 men following goalkeeper Gunay Guvenc’s first-half red card.
The goal marked his 10th away strike of the season, the highest in the league, and the first time he has hit double figures in away goals since netting 14 for Napoli in 2022/23.
Alanyaspor had taken the lead in the 23rd minute through Tonny Vilhena, but an own goal from Fidan Aliti in the 51st minute leveled the game before Osimhen’s decisive finish.
The former African Footballer of the Year now boasts 17 goals and four assists in 21 league appearances.
His current scoring pace further fuels speculation about a big-money summer move.
