Yekeen Adeojo, an Oyo State-based politician and founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is dead.
Adeojo, according to his family died in the early hours of Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Iyaganku Government Reserved Area in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
A member of the PDP and the party’s former Deputy National Chairman (South), Adeojo was also conferred with the Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland title.
A quite respected party member, the late Adeojo was the father of Sheriff Adeojo, the present Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government Area of Oyo state.
A member of the family who pleaded anonymity said, “Our father died this morning (Friday). We are working on burial arrangements. The family will issue a statement in that regards very soon.”
