According to him, although the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) engaged in vote buying, they were unable to beat the amount shared to voters by the APC.

He said, “I’m a Labour Party member, and I vote for my party, Labour. From my point of view, what happened yesterday was successful. There was nothing like violence. Everybody voted in peace. What made the election go well was the money that was involved.

PDP shared money, but it was not up to the amount of APC. Because of the money, PDP members and Labour Party members followed the money. They were voting for money. Because of the money they were giving in the field, they followed APC. In my polling unit, APC got 185, PDP got 8 and Labour Party got 3.”

The man dismissed claims that the election was marred with irregularities, explaining that there was no rigging in the Edo election and that it was peaceful and transparent.

He stated that although he is a Labour Party member and he voted for his party, he believes the election went well without any irregularities.

“The election was never rigged in Edo North Central. The INEC officials did everything openly, and APC led in all polling units.”... CLICK TO READ THE FULL NEWS HERE▶▶
