Obi on Monday reassured Dangote of his resilience in overcoming the various challenges he faces. Last week, Dangote had accused the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited of efforts to impede the operation of his refinery.
Dangote had previously faced skepticism from some associates who questioned his decision to establish the refinery in Nigeria. In response, Obi emphasized that serving humanity often involves navigating difficulties.

In a post on X, Obi stated: “Recently, Alhaji Aliko Dangote’s comments about his frustrations were widely reported. He mentioned that a wealthy friend, who had once dissuaded him from investing in Nigeria, is now mocking him amid the ongoing challenges.
“My esteemed elder brother, Alhaji Dangote, you made the right decision by investing in the growth and development of our nation, despite the obstacles. I believe in your strength to overcome these challenges and contribute positively to society.
“From my personal experiences in public service, including losses from returning savings and businesses negatively impacted, I understand the difficulties you face.
“Despite these struggles, I am convinced that we are here to drive positive change and illuminate the challenges facing our nation. I encourage you to remain steadfast, focusing on the broader goal of national progress and human development.”
