Pilot survives as NAF helicopter crashes in Kaduna

A helicopter owned by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is reported to have crashed at Tami Village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State...READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The incident reportedly happened in the early hours of the morning on Monday, July 1.

Eyewitnesses revealed they heard a loud bang from the crash site at 5 am which made them rust to the crash site. The pilot was emerging from the wreckage on their arrival.

“A team of military officers from the Nigerian Air Force swiftly arrived at the scene to secure the area and conduct an initial investigation.”

“They cordoned off the crash site to prevent unauthorized access and to ensure the safety of the villagers. The officers also began preliminary assessments to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unknown at this time,” said a local.

The Nigerian Air Force was yet to release an official statement regarding the incident, as at the time of this report.
