She described him as a failure who has destroyed the country. Dr Kemi warned supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to desist from promoting eight years for Tinubu.

Dr Kemi noted that President Tinubu is likely to resign in 2025 or before the end of his 4-year tenure. Her comments come after the recent ten-day nationwide protest against hunger, bad governance, insecurity, corruption, and the high cost of living, among other issues.

Taking to her X page to share her thoughts, Dr Kemi wrote, “Tinubu is already a failure. He has completely destroyed the Nigerian economy. I kept quiet during elections and left Nigeria. Governance on the other hand I will speak as I’m a dissatisfied citizen Stop promoting 8 yrs for him. He will likely resign by 2025 even before 4 years.”

The retired journalist also called on President Tinubu to step down same way American President Joe Biden stepped down from the race for a second term.

According to her, Tinubu is not protecting Nigeria but is focused on the power he derives from ruling the country.

“Everything about Tinubu’s government is going wrong and that is why I ask the President to step down. Even Jo Biden stepped down… but Tinubu is not protecting Nigeria, he wants the power, and Nigeria is about power struggle.”

She also cautioned supporters of Peter Obi known as Obidients to be careful with their utterances against the ruling government.

“If you are an Obidient, be very careful about what you say. I have no allegiance or any relationship with Peter Obi. I have never spoken to him or Atiku in my life. I have nothing to do with them or their affiliates and I have nothing to do with Sowore, his activism or any other activist. I no longer talk to Charly Boy. While we were busy doing activism, he was busy collecting money from the APC people we were fighting. I have nothing to do with any Nigerian activist. I am on my own. I am an activist for gun violence and drug abuse. I am not an activist for politics or human rights.”
