RRS nabs two suspected cultists returning from ‘annual conference’

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested two suspected cultists in the early hours of Sunday, 10th February 2025. The suspects, identified as Okey Bright, popularly called “B in Fine Boy”, 21, and Daniel Prince, 22, were arrested around 4:00 a.m. on Monday while they were returning from their confraternity’s annual conference at a hotel (name withheld) located in Lekki.

In a statement, the RRS said preliminary investigations revealed that Bright, a resident of Ikoyi, joined the confraternity in 2024. He is a university student.

“Prince, who goes by the alias “Rugged Promotion”, is a hairstylist and a university student.

“Their arrest was prompted by the suspicious movement of one of the suspects, Daniel Prince, who was carrying a cross bag.
In Prince’s bag, the operatives discovered caps associated with the confraternity, leading to the immediate arrest of both suspects.

“The arrest reinforces the ongoing efforts of the State Command to curb cult-related activities and maintain law and order in the State.

“The suspects have been transferred to CP’s Special Squad for further investigations,” the RRS concluded.
