In a condolence message, Senator Abbas described the death of Mr. Jackson as a great loss to his family, the Lunguda community, and the state. He prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and for the soul of the departed to rest in peace.

Mr. Jackson, 69, was a devoted husband to Hon. Mrs. Wilbina Jackson, a former member representing Guyuk constituency and former Commissioner of Education and Human Capital Development. He left behind a wife, four children, and two grandchildren.
