It should be mentioned that Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, a South African, participated in Miss South Africa 2024 but was disqualified by her fellow countrymen due to her Nigerian heritage.
However, South Africans have been very supportive of the former Miss SA finalist when she competed in Miss Universe Nigeria.
The model, who was born in South Africa, turned down the chance from the organizers after deciding not to compete in the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant, where she was competing as Miss Taraba.
Following the news of her participation in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, many South Africans have rallied behind her.
