Terrifying Moment 12 farmers reportedly abducted after army claimed bandits ‘feeling the heat ‘

‎Twelve farmers have reportedly been abducted by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in the Mussa district of Askira‑Uba Local Government Area, Borno State.

‎According to a report from Legit NG, the abduction took place on Saturday evening, November 22 2025, while the farmers were returning from their farms.

‎According to Legit NG, the Borno State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Daso, confirmed the incident to Channels Television and an investigation is underway.

‎This follows after the attack on Christ Apostolic Church in Eruku, Kwara State.

‎The tragic incident occured on the evening of November 18, 2025, when gunmen opened fire, killing two people and abducting 38 congregants.

In a recent development, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has confirmed that the 38 worshippers kidnapped from Christ Apostolic Church in Eruku, Kwara, have been freed.

This was announced in a post on his X account on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

In his post, Bola Ahmed Tinubu disclosed that he cancelled his G20 trip and ordered extra security deployments in the nation.

In addition, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq praised Tinubu and thanked the military, DSS, police and other agencies for their efforts.

Meanwhile, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu issued a directive ordering the withdrawal of police personnel currently assigned to prominet individuals in the country.

The president has also approved the recruitment of 30,000 new officers and is working with state governments to upgrade training facilities.
