The Apala Disco performer recently acknowledged several people who have influenced his career in an interview with Echo Room.
Terry Apala brought up Wizkid FC, DJ Tunez, and Seyi Vibez. The 35-year-old former banker said that Wizkid’s supporters were unavoidable since they had supported him.
He further explained that he has felt the influence of Gen Z on his artistry ever since Wizkid FC began commenting about his songs on the internet.
He said, “Shout out to Wizkid FC; they’ve always been there for me, too. Shout out to DJ Tunez and Seyi Vibes. We can’t exclude Wizkid FC from the picture because I feel like since they started posting my stuff, tweeting about my stuff, I can feel the Gen Z’s impact on my craft.”
Terry Apala also praised the supporters of Burna Boy and Davido.
He said, “Shout out to 30BG. You can’t take all the Wizkid FC, 30BGs, Outsiders, people are beginning to… my Instagram don busy now, social media don busy now.”
The musician continued by saying that he would accept Davido’s offer to work with him on a song should the superstar initiate it. He claims that there is just love between the fans of 30BG and Wizkid FC.
