Zagazola Makama gathered from sources that the tragic incident occurred at about 10:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, when the father, identified as Danga Shiru Wanzam, reportedly attacked the teenager with a knife, stabbing him in the chest over an issue that has yet to be determined.

Police operatives who visited the scene rushed the victim to the General Hospital in Babangida, where a medical officer on duty certified him dead on arrival.

Community members have expressed shock over the incident, describing the deceased as a quiet and respectful youth.

Police sat efforts are ongoing to locate the suspect, who fled the area shortly after the incident.
