2. Avoid electronic equipment

This pertains to any and all electronic devices, such as stoves, televisions, or any other apparatus that derives its power from electrical sources.

3. Avoid water

Water acts as a conductor of electricity, hence lightning frequently strikes bodies of water. That means that the currents from a lightning strike have the potential to cause severe injuries to you.
