Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli and Chelsea are currently the frontrunners in the race for the signature of the reigning African Footballer of the Year.
After agreeing a deal believed to be around the region of £67.3m (€80m) with Napoli, the Saudi-based club is yet to receive green light from the Nigerian striker.
Chelsea’s representatives are reportedly in Italy to convince the former Lille striker to accept the Blues initial loan deal with an obligation to buy.
As the clock runs down on the transfer deadline day, it remains to be seen which club snatch Osimhen’s signature in the transfer tug-of-war between Al Ahli and Chelsea.
