Valentine Ozigbo receives APC clearance certificate, visits Tinubu’s daughter

Valentine Ozigbo, a former political ally to Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party has received his certificate of clearance from the All Progressives Congress.

Ozigbo received his clearance certificate from the APC ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold in Anambra State.

In a post made on X, Ozigbo said after receiving his certificate, he headed to the office of Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Mujidat Tinubu-Ojo, in Abuja.

During the visit, Ozigbo said they discussed challenges faced by Nigerian women in general and ways these problems could be addressed.

He wrote, “After receiving my clearance certificate to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary, I paid a courtesy call to Alhaja Dr. Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja General of Nigeria, at her office in Abuja.

During my visit, we discussed challenges and solutions for the Nigeria’s women and traders, who form the core of our economic strength. It is our hope that with progressive leadership, we can collectively improve the lot of this all-important section of our population.

I am grateful for the warm reception and insightful discussions, Alhaja. The journey to a better and brighter Anambra continues!” Ozigbo added.
