[VIDEO] Mirabel: Ogun Police Take Over Case, Move Survivor to Jurisdiction for Justice

The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed it is investigating the viral rape allegation made by a young woman identified as Mirabel, who claimed she was sexually assaulted in her home by an unknown man. Police spokesperson DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi stated that upon receiving information, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ibafo Division, immediately reached out to the victim.

Mirabel reported at Ibafo Police Station, where preliminary facts were obtained, revealing that the alleged act occurred within the Ogijo jurisdiction. She was escorted to a medical facility for assessment and treatment before being transferred to Ogijo Police Station for proper documentation and continuation of investigations.

Given her fragile condition, she has been referred for extensive medical care to aid recovery and support the investigation. The command pledged commitment to her safety, well-being, and diligent pursuit of justice.
