Real Madrid manager, Xabi Alonso has insisted that winger Vinicius Junior is very unpredictable.
Alonso also named Aurélien Tchouaméni as the ‘cornerstone’ of his Real Madrid team.
The Spaniard spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s FIFA Club World Cup tie with Pachuca on Sunday night.
“Vini? Vini is doing well. We just need to help him be more decisive,” Alonso said.
“He’s a very different player, very unpredictable, and when he has fun, he helps the team a lot.”
Speaking on Tchouaméni, Alonso added, “Tchouaméni is a cornerstone of my team. He is very important.
“He wants to progress and be better and be very important for the team. And his willingness to learn and improve is very important.”
Meanwhile, Alonso included both Vinicius and Tchouaméni in his side’s squad to face Pachuca tonight.
