In the circulating video, the former Peoples Democratic Party chieftain from Anambra State was seen driving out a foreign national who had finished work in the senator’s home and was requesting payment.

Uba was heard ordering the workers to leave his home, insisting that he did not owe them. He said, “Leave my house; I am not owing you. I said, leave my house.”

A foreigner in the video can be heard saying, “Look at me, why are you hitting him? Why are you hitting him?”

Uba responded by telling the man to “shut up. Get out; you are a fool. You are another criminal.”

The voice continued, saying Uba “doesn’t want to pay.”

“We have done work for him; the whole house – Suleiman – he is trying to beat him. He is a hard man. Are you a hard man here? Are you a tough man? Tough man, the police are going to see that if you don’t want to pay money.”

Uba then said, “You are too small,” before charging at the man videoing the incident.

This recent video resurrected an old video of staff from Heritage Bank protesting outside his house in Abuja on Monday, June 21, 2021.

The workers claimed they were there to demand payment for loans Uba had taken from the bank and had refused to repay.

According to the workers, the loans Uba took were meant for paying salaries, and if left unpaid, many workers would be left without jobs.

Uba, a political godfather, was reported to be at the height of his power during the 2003 elections, when he sponsored PDP candidates and allegedly rigged their elections across Anambra.

After the election, Uba publicly declared himself “the greatest godfather in Nigeria,” stating that “this is the first time an individual single-handedly put in position every politician in the state.”

Among the politicians Chris Uba “sponsored” in 2003 was PDP governorship candidate Chris Ngige.

In 2022, during the Okwudili Ezenwankwo Foundation empowerment program held on December 28, 2022, in Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Uba boasted that he had influenced the rise of governors and senators. He proudly declared that he owned three oil wells.

He said, “I’ve made so many highly placed politicians in Anambra State and beyond since 1999. I’ve made governors, senators and other politicians at different levels.

“I produced Chinwoke Mbadinuju and Chris Ngige as governors. I had a hand in making Peter Obi, Willie Obiano and Charles Soludo as governors of Anambra State. I also made an uncountable number of senators, House of Representatives members, and state assembly members.

“In all these efforts, I was rewarded with ingratitude. None of them showed me gratitude. This is why I decided to pick a ticket myself to go to the Senate to represent Anambra South.”

“I am not going there to acquire wealth. I have 3 oil wells. I have chains of businesses,” he further claimed.

Since the video hit the internet, Nigerians have been reacting to it with many calling for his arrest.

@emmy4life02: He still feels entitled. Man think he is in Nigeria. When he is arrested now, you will start hearing ronu people asking Igbo to defend this criminal.

@Lord_of_Nigeria: I hope he is charged and sent to prison. They fail to understand that buying houses abroad with stolen money from Nigeria doesn’t mean they can buy the sense to live there. There is no bigmanism abroad, everyone even cleaners are respected, I hope he gets arrested for assault.

@HenryIkwunemere: “You’re too small”. He thinks he’s in Nigeria where they oppress everyone. Let him go and ask Ike Ekweremmadu how far. He’s done for good.

@Uncle_Olu_: Anyway, Ekweremadu should shift for him small, make he chill with him for ‘preezeen’
For him to do this in the UK, you’ll just know that he doesn’t pay more than the initial payment in Nigeria..

@jidifeanyi: Jail term is calling this one. He thinks he’s in Anambra were he lords it over his people

@ChudMoss: Physical assault will surely involve the police- it doesn’t matter who you’re.
