Emeka Beke, the reinstated Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State says the party is ready to work with Governor Siminalayi Fubara against his political godfather, Nyesom Wike.
Beke made the declaration in an interview on Arise TV’s Morning Show on Tuesday, August 13.
He stressed that the APC is willing to work with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) if he extends a hand of friendship to the party.
He said, “I worked with Rotimi Amaechi and he is my leader, and he has no link with Fubara.
“If he extends a hand of fellowship to APC, we will work with him and develop the state. We can’t continue fighting; Rivers is going backward.
“You can’t have two governors in one state, even if your son is made governor, you should allow him to function.
“We have finished the politicking; it’s now time for governance.”
