Reacting to the news of the defection of the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, his predecessor, Ifeanyi Okowa and other key politicians in the state, Giadom welcomed the defectors on behalf of the ruling party.

He also commended the decision of the defectors to collapse the DPD structure in Delta State into the ruling party.

According to him, such a move by the defectors is a testament to President Bola Tinubu’s visionary leadership and transformational economic policies.

Giadom also said that the action showcased by Governor Oborevwori highlights that the efforts being made by President Tinubu’s administration now resonate across the South-South region.

He said, “The South-South zonal leadership of our great Party looks forward to working with our new members to strengthen the Party and position it for overwhelming victory for the President and our Party in the region in the 2027 general elections.”
