He disclosed the formation of a committee advising youth in the Southeast not to demonstrate against Tinubu’s administration.

Nwanyanwu underlined that neither President Tinubu nor the Igbo people are hostile toward one another. He advised against protests and in favor of dialogue and understanding that is nonviolent.

Nwanyanwu made this statement in an interview with Channels TV after Professor Usman Yusuf, former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, said he was surprised that the South Eastern part of the country has remained quiet amid the worsening economic hardship facing the country
