“What’s Coming Is Heavy” – PDP Chieftain Sheds Light on Coalition Ahead of 2027 [VIDEO]

Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, has shed more light on a possible political coalition ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking about the opposition’s plans, Ologbondiyan stated, “What is coming is heavy…” He suggested that if his current political analysis is correct, Nigerians should remain hopeful, as change could be on the horizon.

In recent months, discussions about forming a united opposition to challenge President Bola Tinubu in 2027 have intensified. Leaders from various political parties have explored the possibility of bringing together opposition candidates from the 2023 election, but a concrete alliance has yet to be finalized. He made the comments in AIT’s Focus Nigeria program.

There have been ongoing speculations that key opposition figures may collaborate to strengthen their chances of defeating the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next election.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has dismissed speculation that he plans to leave the PDP. In a statement released by his media office on Saturday, Atiku reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and emphasized the need for opposition unity ahead of 2027.

His recent interactions with former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai have fueled speculation that both politicians are working on a political strategy. El-Rufai has been seen meeting with key political figures frequently, and on Sunday, he held yet another meeting with Atiku.
