Arise Television Morning Show co-host, Rufai Oseni has questioned the whereabouts of pastors and professors who protested against former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2012.

He expressed disappointment in their silence during President Bola Tinubu’s tenure, where hardship continues to worsen with high cost of living, insecurity, and inflation.

Oseni also tackled those who protested against bad governance in 2012 but remain silent today, describing them as hypocrites.

In a post on his social media page on Sunday, July 28, Oseni wrote, “All the people that protested against bad governance in 2012 and can’t speak up today are hypocrites. Is Nigeria better today? Where are the pastors and professors that condemned Jonathan in 2012.

He shared photos of some notable people who protested during Goodluck Jonathan’s government, including Professor Wole Soyinka and Adams Oshiomhole.

Due to the economic hardship Nigerians are facing, the youths are mobilizing themselves to embark on a nationwide protest in a bid to call on the government to address the state of the economy.

The protest is scheduled to take place from August 1 and will continue until August 10.

Nigerians took to his comment section on X platform to share their thoughts.
