Nwuzi who is also the leader of Etche Political Nation asserts in an interview with the Ghetto News Network in Port Harcourt that Wike betrayed John Mbata, Amaechi,Peter Odili, Goodluck Jonathan and his wife Patience, warning that President Tinubu should not trust such a man.

He also alleged that Wike had a strained relationship with his biological father, stressing that he two of them was not in talking terms. “His own biological father, go and check history, he is not in talking terms with his own biological father,” he said.
Speaking about how Wike betrayed Amaechi, Nwuzi said he brainwashed President Jonathan with lies about Amaechi as he wanted to become governor when he was a minister under Jonathan. According to him, Jonathan believed Wike’s lies which led to him and his wife Patience severing relationship with Amaechi.

He words: “Wike betrayed Amaechi because he wanted to be governor when Jonathan was in power. They thought that they are working with someone genuine, not knowing that they were entangled with a big snake, python. Jonathan and Madam Patience believed his lies leading to a soured relationship with Amaechi.”

On his betrayal of Odili, the leader of Etche Nation said: “I was in a dinner where Wike openly declared to the whole world that nothing on the surface of the earth could ever make him go against Dr. Peter Odili. Is not the same man and his wife that he ridiculed sometime ago?”

He alleged that it was the lies Wike told president Tinubu that paved way for Wike becoming the President’s angel, but warned that Tinubu would also be betrayed in the long run.

Chief Nwuzi said Wike ruled for 8 years in Rivers State and the only visible achievement he recorded was his bullying the people of the state.

His words: “He bullied his fellow governors, he bullied the elders, he bullied the traditional rulers, he bullied the youths.”
According to the leader, Etche Simplified Movement, after Wike’s 8 years of disastrous leadership, the people of Rivers elected a God fearing man Sim Fubara as governor, a man who has feelings for the people and had been delivering dividends of democracy to them, lamenting that Wike came again to disrupt his government.

He said: “Nevertheless, we have elected a governor in less than 8 months, and Wike thought he would use him as a rubber stamp, misconstruing Fubara’s loyalty and humility as weakness.
Governor Fubara till tomorrow remains my governor. He gave us what we had never experienced before- leadership. He is very calm, focused, understanding, unassuming. Is it a sim for someone to assist another to win elections? Yes, he assisted Sim to win election. Was it a crime?”

Nwuzi was disappointed with President Tinubu who he alleged had been using Wike to destabilize Rivers State. He told Ghetto News Network that his family had warned him not to vote for President Tinubu during the presidential election, but he said he had listened to the advice of his leader and voted for Tinubu in the same way he and his followers voted massively for Fubara.
The Etche prominent citizen wanted to know the sins Fubara had committed against Tinubu that would warrant him to speak so disparagingly against the suspended governor and using Wike to distabilize his government.

It could be recalled that the 27 Rivers lawmakers led by Martins Amaewhule who defected to the APC on the alleged instruction of the FCT Minister Wike had been at daggers drawn with the suspended governor Fubara, making governance difficult for him.
Wike is alleged to be sponsoring their recalcitrant attitude towards the governor and the many court cases, including the recent Supreme Court ruling aimed at causing confusion in the state. Fubara had moved to start implementing the Supreme Court’s stipulations, but the 27 lawmakers had again resorted to arms twisting.

They even locked Fubara out of the Assembly Quarters when he went there to present the 2025 Budget as ordered by the Supreme Court. While this macabre dance was going, the lawmakers again issued impeachment notice to the governor wherein they detailed his alleged misdemeanor. They were still in the drama before the president unilaterally declared a State of Emergency in the state and suspended the governor from office for 6 months, an action which did not go down well with Rivers people and lovers of democracy.

Against this backdrop, Nwuzi has called on President Tinubu to listen to the voices of Nigerians who had spoken on the issue and withdraw the suspension order on the governor and recall him to Government House to continue his good governance in the state. He said it would have been better for the National Assembly to decide the matter before he took the unilateral decision to suspend him.
