Woman, Six Children Killed by Gunmen in Kano Home Invasion

Gunmen killed a woman and her six children after breaking into a residential home in the Darayi quarters of Kano Municipal Local Government Area on Saturday.

The victims were identified as Fatima Abubakar and her children. Neighbours discovered their bodies and alerted the police, who evacuated the victims to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital, where they were confirmed dead.

The Kano State Police Command has launched an investigation led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department.
