She called for greater female representation in decision-making processes to bring a fresh perspective to leadership.

During her visit to Ondo State governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in Akure, Alile praised him for his dedication to promoting women’s empowerment and inclusion in governance.

She highlighted the importance of gender-balanced appointments in both state and national government.

Alile acknowledged Aiyedatiwa’s efforts in aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by involving women in key decisions in the state. “Governor Aiyedatiwa has made notable progress in increasing female participation in governance, creating opportunities for women to play meaningful roles,” she said.

She encouraged other governors to follow Aiyedatiwa’s example, emphasising that including women in governance strengthens leadership and empowers women to contribute to nation-building.

Alile also called on women in Ondo State to support Aiyedatiwa in the upcoming November 16 gubernatorial election, recognising his commitment to women’s inclusion in leadership.

Governor Aiyedatiwa, in response, reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to prioritising women’s roles in governance. He noted that his government would continue to make political appointments that ensure women have a say in the state’s decision-making process.
