‘Your failed security architecture now endemic’ Atiku blasts Tinubu over Plateau killings

A former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has slammed President Bola Tinubu over the incessant killing of Nigerians by bandits and terrorists across regions of the country.

In a post made on X, Atiku described the present security architecture as a failure characterised with wanton killing of citizens.

Condemning the recent attack in Plateau State that left many dead, the two-time presidential candidate said Nigerians are now being forced to get used to the incessant killing in states of Nigeria.

He wrote, “The failure of Bola Tinubu’s security architecture has now become an endemic nationwide phenomenon with repeated killings, more of which do not even make the headlines.

“Nigerians are now being forced to get used to such news of wanton killings, and I again offer my condolences to the bereaved communities of Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State and the affected families,” Atiku said.

Further commiserating with families of the Plateau attack in five different communities of the state, Atiku urged the presidentto review the nation’s security architecture to meet the needs of Nigerians.

“I wish to restate my counsel to the Tinubu-led FG to reconfigure its security architecture to meet the needs of protecting the lives and properties of our people,” Atiku wrote.
