BREAKING NEWS: Adult Star ‘Beheaded Father of her children’ while ‘having affair with her own stepson’

A former adult star has been accused of murdering her lover turned father-in-law after allegedly starting an affair with her stepson. Devyn Michaels, 46, was arrested after Jonathan Willette, also 46, was found beheaded and suffering from chemical burns in his home.

Prosecutors say the man’s body was found “defiled” with bleach and ammonia in his residence in Las Vegas, US. His head has never been recovered. Michaels and Willette had been in an on-and-off relationship and shared two young daughters. In a tangled family dynamic, Michaels was also ‘secretly’ married to Willette’s adult son, making her both Willette’s partner and daughter-in-law, according to local reports.

The adult film actress pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last autumn as part of a plea deal that carried a 15-year prison sentence with the possibility of parole.

However, her sentencing hearing in July took an unexpected turn when Michaels dramatically claimed she was innocent. Following her statement, prosecutors moved forward with a first-degree murder trial, which began this week.

During opening statements, the lead prosecutor told the court that Michaels killed Willette because she wanted to raise her children with his son, Deviere Willette, 29, PEOPLE reports.

While Michaels and Jonathan Willette were never married, she is said to have wed Deviere in 2021. She reportedly told police that she married him so he could help manage her medical issues, according to local news station KTNV.

At the time of Willette’s death, the couple were said to be planning to move back in together for the sake of their children. But prosecutors claim that this arrangement was not what Michaels wanted.

Holding up a family photograph of Michaels, Deviere, and her children, chief prosecutor John Giordani told jurors: “This is the future that she saw and that she wanted, and the only way to have that future was with John out of the picture.”

Deviere also took a polygraph test, during which she reportedly displayed a strong physiological reaction when asked if she was involved in Willette’s death.

When questioned about the response, Michaels reportedly admitted she struck Willette in the back of the head with a wooden spoon the night he was killed. She allegedly told detectives she didn’t intend to kill him but “only wanted to hurt him enough that he would have to go to the hospital because she wanted him out of the way so she could figure out what she could do with her children.”

Investigators believe Willette’s severed head was discarded in the trash and later taken to a landfill. Before her scheduled sentencing in July, Michaels broke down in court, insisting she was being wrongly accused.

“I know right now no one in the family feels that I am innocent at any point and I understand that, but I can actually prove my innocence,” she said. “I actually can. And I am not going to stop fighting to prove my innocence.”

She continued: “I was helping Johnathan. I can show that I was trying to help him.”

The trial continues.
