Nollywood actor Lege Miami is facing backlash online after sharing a video of himself distributing branded Iftar meal packs in the Kosofe area of Lagos.
The food items, which reportedly included jollof rice, were said to be sponsored by Seyi Tinubu through the **Noella Foundation** as part of a Ramadan outreach aimed at supporting Muslims observing the fast and vulnerable families during the holy month.
In the footage posted on Instagram, residents were seen gathered in large numbers, lining up to receive the meals. Lege Miami expressed gratitude to Seyi Tinubu, praising the gesture as compassionate and thoughtful toward the people of Kosofe.
However, the post triggered mixed reactions. While some applauded the charitable effort, others argued that such distributions offer only temporary relief and fail to address deeper economic challenges affecting many Nigerians.
Critics maintained that beyond food handouts, more sustainable solutions are needed to tackle poverty and financial hardship.
