Justice Binta Fatima Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has sentenced Hamatu Modu, a major food supplier to Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State, to 40 years imprisonment. Modu confessed to supplying food items and information to terrorists. He faced four charges and pleaded guilty. The court sentenced him to 10 years on each count, to run concurrently, meaning he will serve 10 years. Another food supplier, Isah Ali, was jailed 10 years, with his term starting from his arrest date.
