BREAKING NEWS: Finally 54-year-old woman confesses to wire fraud against Coles Co. company

A 54-year-old Shelby County woman pleaded guilty on Wednesday to four counts of wire fraud against a company based in the Charleston-Mattoon area....For More CONTINUE THE FULL READING▶▶

In federal court, Julie Williams of Stewardson admitted that she spent a little over a year stealing money from her former employer, Apex Property Management. Williams made false entries in the company’s software system to hide the thefts, and the fraud continued from October of 2014 to February of 2016.

The FBI’s Springfield Field Office and the Mattoon Police Department conducted an investigation into Williams’ activity, which resulted in charges being filed. She faces up to 80 years in prison, as much as $1 million in fines and up to 12 years on parole...WATCH.THE FULL VIDEO HERE>>>
