Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu, a former Deputy Senate President of Nigeria is dead, Daily Report can confirm. The former lawmaker represented Plateau Central Senator at the Red Chambers.
The late legislator reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He was Deputy Senate President between 2003 and 2007, under former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration.
Cause of his death is yet to be made public as no official statement has been details released by his family.
