Sowore asserted that Obi would have eliminated the fuel subsidy as he had promised during the election campaigns, per an article published in The Punch.

It was gathered that Sowore stated that President Tinubu’s actions align with what Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would have done if he had become president.
