Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has announced his first provisional squad as Nigeria prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Chelle has named a 35-man squad, which includes experienced players and a number of fresh talent. Captain Ahmed Musa makes a return alongside vice-captain William Troost-Ekong and midfielder Joe Aribo.
The squad also features six new faces, including home-based stars Papa Mustapha (Niger Tornadoes), Kayode Bankole (Remo Stars), and Ifeanyi Emmanuel Onyebuchi (Enugu Rangers).
The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in an away fixture in Kigali on March 21 before hosting Zimbabwe in Nigeria on March 25.
