The musician appeared in a video leaving an unidentified airport in Nigeria and the clip instantly gained popularity on social media.
The late Madam Jane Dolapo’s funeral arrangements were recently disclosed by her family on social media.
They plan to hold a wake and tribute in her honour on October 12 with the funeral taking place the next day, October 13.
The funeral will be held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) City of David in Lagos’ Victoria Island.
Fans have flocked to the comment section to show their support for the musician as he travels back to Nigeria to bid his mother her last farewell.
