Kylian Mbappe can agree to join his next club this month
Chelsea have already completed three deals in the January transfer window. Andre Santos and Zak Sturge have returned to Stamford Bridge from their respective loan spells, whilst Alex Matos has joined Huddersfield Town on loan.
Ian Maatsen is looking likely to leave in a move to Borussia Dortmund. Alfie Gilchrist and Trevoh Chalobah have also reportedly had interest shown in them but there’s no concrete moves planned yet.
The Blues are still likely looking to bring in players of their own, including a striker, and continue to be linked with the likes of Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney but there will be others on their radar throughout the month. The west Londoners will need to raise around £160million if they are to pursue a deal to sign Toney this month.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe has issued an update on his future at Paris Saint-Germain as he enters the final six months of his contract.
