Continental competitions: CAF gives Nigeria, others deadline to submit representatives

Africa’s soccer governing body had initially informed member associations that the preliminary round will commence in August 2024.
According to an update from the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, the body has given the participating countries June 15th, 2024, as the deadline to submit the names of the clubs that will represent them.
The winners of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, and the runners-up will represent the country in the CAF Champions League.
The second runners-up and the President Federation Cup winner will play in the CAF Confederation Cup.
