In his plea to the public, Mr. Ibu highlighted the severity of his illness, which could potentially lead to the amputation of his limb. He earnestly requested prayers and financial assistance for his treatment.
In light of this distressing situation, Kanayo O Kanayo, another respected figure in the Nollywood industry, had earlier spoken out about Mr. Ibu’s condition and addressed the criticisms and allegations from various individuals including Reno Omokri and Verydarkman.
In a heartwarming turn of events, musicians Davido and P-Square, together with Tunde Ednut, have decided to shoulder Mr. Ibu’s medical expenses, demonstrating solidarity and support within the entertainment industry.
The uplifting news was shared by Kelly Hassino, a Facebook blogger, indicating the continued unity and benevolence present among Nigerian celebrities.
In his post he said; “Good news, Tunde Ednut, P Square and Davido have told Mr Ibu to remove the public appeal as they’ll sponsor him to the best hospital in the world!
I hope he gets well soon and they don’t have to amputate his legs. Just as he said “if they cut my legs, where I go walker go” where him go walker go!
