Emirship tussle: Step into the matter to bring peace — Tinubu told

Danbilki-Kwamanda, an ally of former President Muhammadu Buhari said the President must call the Kano State government to order from setting bad precedence under his tenure.

He made this known when he spoke to pressmen in Kano as he cautioned the President against allowing the state government to hide under state laws to violates court orders that stopped the reinstatement of Muhammadu Sanusi II as the 16th Emir of Kano.

According to him, “What the Kano State Government is doing in violating the Federal High Court order stopping the reinstatement of Muhammadu Sanusi ii was rather setting a bad precedent that will consume everybody.

“We cannot, understand why the people that celebrated and used effectively court to maintained their government, will now stood firmly against a substantive Court order that stopped them from carrying out illegality,” he said.

The Chairman of Arewa Media Group, continued when he said, “Politics aside, the insistence that the reinstated Emir must stay and continue parading himself as the authentic Emir of Kano, has violate the rules of law and constitutes a threat to the Nation Constitution and general wellbeing.

“We call on the attention of President Bola Tinubu to as a matter of urgency do the needful by strongly stepping in the matter to bring peace and stability in the State.

“Although, I’m a politician, but honestly this time around politics aside, there is great danger in what Kano State Government is doing, the Court injunction must be respected to allow peace to reigns.

“Why is controversy associated with the reinstated Emir Muhammadu Sanusi ii, look at how he was booted out of government by former President GoodLuck Jonathan out of his Government, look at how he was removed and the reason why he was removed, now are you returning him to continue anarchy in Kano or what?

“You should not allow this bad precedent be set during your tenure, you should ensure that everybody respects the law by stopping the reinstatement,” Danbilki-Kwamanda,” stated.…Continue The Full Reading.>’.
