As Arsenal brace for a decisive final match against Everton, they remain dependent on West Ham defeating Manchester City to have a chance at ending their two-decade title drought.

Man City’s recent 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur has positioned them two points ahead of Arsenal.

A victory against West Ham at the Etihad Stadium would ensure City retains the Premier League title.

Despite their reliance on West Ham, Arsenal could have been in a stronger position.

During City’s match against Tottenham, Son had a prime opportunity to equalize after intercepting a pass from Manuel Akanji, but his shot was saved by Man City goalkeeper, Stefan Ortega.

Reflecting on the missed chance ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Everton on Sunday, Arteta expressed his faith in Son’s abilities.
