Gallas believes the Ukraine international would still be a “good fit” for Mikel Arteta’s team.
Mudryk looked set to join the Gunners last year, before Chelsea hijacked the deal.
Since then, the winger has scored only four times in 37 league appearances.
Despite his struggles at Stamford Bridge, Gallas feels Mudryk could thrive at Arsenal.
He told Gambling Zone: “I know that Emmanuel Petit spoke about Mykhailo Mudryk potentially joining Arsenal, as Mikel Arteta likes him.
“He would be a good fit for Arsenal, with his speed and quality – that’s why Arteta likes him and wanted him in the first place.
“Before he signed for Chelsea, Arsenal nearly signed him but he changed his mind and you cannot forget that.
“I’ve said before that Arsenal will win the title next year, not this year, and if they sign Mudryk that could help them.”
