Manchester United legend, Nemanja Vidic, has named his favourite defenders currently playing in the Premier League.
Vidic forged a formidable partnership with Rio Ferdinand during his time at Old Trafford.
And the Serb has been impressed with some of the centre-backs in the topflight.
Speaking to The Times, Vidic said: “The best defenders now? I like talking about the young ones.
“Micky van de Ven [at Tottenham Hotspur]. He’s fast, strong and good in the air, and has the capabilities to really improve.
