Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has joked that they signed “the best winger on the planet” when they brought in Josko Gvardiol last summer.
Gvardiola, who arrived from RB Leipzig in a 100m deal, scored twice as City thrashed Fulham on Saturday.
The Croatian has now scored five goals in the title run-in for the champions.
When asked about the defender’s form, Guardiola told BBC Radio: “The first goal… we signed the best winger on the planet!
“After Wolves, three days off, he was the only one who went to the training centre for his recovery.
