Gen Musa Reveals how guns of slain terrorists were hidden while he was commander in the North

Speaking on the intermittent crises in the Plateau State’s Mangu Local Government Area and the bandit activity in the northern area, General Musa claimed that certain citizens were undermining the nation’s attempts to reduce insecurity.

While he was reacting over the wrong killings of innocent people that were wrongly mistaken as terrorists in Nasarawa and Kaduna States, as there didn’t seem to be an investigation, or at least the public was not told the outcome, Gen Musa said very soon, the report of the investigation would be made public.

He also said, “But, let me tell you the truth. When I was a theater commander in the North East – Harden-Kai – for 19 months, sometimes terrorists would come to an area with weapons to launch an attack, and we would kill them, but before you would get there, all the weapons would have been hidden, and they would tell you that they were civilians. In such cases, how do you tell the story ?”

Further talking, General Christopher Musa said, “We have had situations where we cleared a village, not knowing that they had hidden weapons behind, and they would dig them out and attack you from the rear.” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
